The rules that apply when you book a tour, an excursion or a multi-day trip with Marrakech Eye Tours.

The provider
Marrakech Eye Tours is the name under which Adil works, a guide licensed by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism, licence no. 2706, in Marrakech, Morocco. The walks, day trips and multi-day tours are designed and led by him. Contact: contact@marrakecheyetours.com, +212 661 493 130.
Scope
These terms govern the guided walking tours in Marrakech, the day excursions from Marrakech and the multi-day tours in Morocco sold by Marrakech Eye Tours. Booking a service implies acceptance of these terms.
Quotes and booking
Every request receives a written quote by WhatsApp or email stating the date, the duration, the number of participants, the itinerary, the price and what it includes. A booking is firm once the client has confirmed the quote in writing and any agreed deposit has been received.
Prices
Prices are quoted per service and per group, in the currency stated on the quote. Unless written otherwise, they do not include monument entrance fees, drinks, personal expenses, flights or travel insurance. Tips are never compulsory. Prices are valid for the dates and the group size stated on the quote.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on the quote: cash on the day, bank transfer before departure, or a deposit followed by the balance. No card payment is taken on this website: the site does not process any payment.
Cancellation and changes
For guided walks in Marrakech, cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the meeting time. After that, the tour is payable, except in exceptional circumstances considered in good faith. For day trips and multi-day Morocco tours, the terms depend on the bookings already made with accommodation and other providers: they are set out on the quote and communicated before any payment. If something unexpected comes up on those, contact us directly and we will look for a solution. A change of date is accepted whenever the schedule allows and is preferable to a cancellation. If Marrakech Eye Tours has to cancel, any sum already paid is refunded in full or an alternative date is offered.
Course of the service
The meeting point and time are confirmed the day before. The itinerary may be adapted on the day for weather, heat, crowds, the closure of a site or the pace of the group. Such adjustments do not entitle the client to a reduction when the service as a whole is delivered.
Client obligations
The client is responsible for their own fitness for the service booked, for suitable footwear and clothing, and for supervising any minors in the group. The client must mention in advance any medical condition, allergy or reduced mobility that affects the walk.
Purchases in the souks
Where the client buys from a craftsman or a shop, the contract of sale is concluded directly between the client and that merchant. Marrakech Eye Tours advises and assists with negotiation but is not a party to the sale and gives no warranty on the goods.
Liability and insurance
Marrakech Eye Tours is liable for the proper performance of the services it provides. It is not liable for events beyond its control, for the acts of third parties or for the client’s own negligence. Clients are strongly advised to hold travel and medical insurance covering their stay.
Photographs
Photographs taken during a tour may be used on this website and on the company’s social media accounts. Any client who prefers not to appear may say so at any time, before or after the tour, and the photograph will be removed.
Complaints and applicable law
Any complaint should be sent to contact@marrakecheyetours.com and will receive an answer. These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Failing an amicable settlement, the courts of Marrakech have jurisdiction.
