No online deposit. Accommodation is only booked once the programme is settled, and the cancellation terms then appear on your quote.

What you actually see
The three tours on this site cover the classic crossing of the south, from Marrakech to the dunes of Erg Chebbi and on to Fes. They work well because the road is fine and the sequence of landscapes makes sense. But they do not suit everyone, and it is better to say so than to force a journey into a mould.
The most common requests all fall outside that frame. Seven days adding Chefchaouen and its blue medina in the north. A loop that returns to Marrakech instead of ending in Fes, because the flight leaves from there. A slower pace with shorter stages, because you are travelling with young children or elderly parents. A tour that favours mountain walking over the road to the desert.
In all these cases the right answer is not to shorten an existing tour but to write another one. That is what Adil does, knowing the real distances, the mountain roads that take twice as long as a map suggests, and the places where two nights beat one.
A tailor-made tour takes shape over three exchanges, rarely more. You give your dates, the size of your group and what draws you: the desert, the kasbahs, the coast, the mountains, the imperial cities. Adil comes back with a day-by-day outline carrying real distances and real driving times. You correct what does not work — one stop too many, a day that runs too long, something you forgot to mention. The quote follows once the route is settled, and it spells out what it covers. Nothing is committed until you say yes in writing.
Three things reshape an itinerary more than anything else. Season first: the Atlas passes can close for snow between December and February, and the desert turns hard in July and August, when you leave early and rest through the afternoon. Pace next: four hours of driving a day is comfortable, six is tiring, eight ruins the day. Children last, who cannot take the same stages as adults travelling alone; with them you shorten the drives and lengthen the stops.
A tailor-made tour does not shorten Morocco. Marrakech to Merzouga is close to six hundred kilometres on mountain roads, and no arrangement makes that shorter. It is the first thing Adil will tell you if your dates cannot hold what you have in mind: better to see less and actually see it. The itineraries he declines to build are the ones that work on paper and turn into a race on the road. You get a straight answer before the quote, not after.
Questions about this tour
How many days should we allow?
It depends what you want to see. Two or three days is enough for a short loop in the south. The desert needs four days to be seen rather than crossed. Beyond eight days, the north can be added: Fes, Chefchaouen or the coast.
Does tailor-made cost more than a catalogue tour?
Not necessarily. The price depends on the number of days, the size of the group and the standard of accommodation, not on being tailor-made. A shorter custom tour can cost less than a longer standard one.
Can we start from a city other than Marrakech?
Yes. Fes and Casablanca are common starting points, and it is possible to begin in one city and finish in another, which avoids driving the same road twice.
How far ahead should we book?
A month is usually enough. In high season, March to May and September to November, allow two to three months: it is not vehicles that run short, it is the good guesthouses on the overnight stops, which fill early. For a departure inside two weeks the route still works, but the places to stay are chosen from whatever is left.
Who drives, and in what vehicle?
A professional driver handles the road and Adil handles the guiding. In Morocco these are two separate trades, and a guide who drives for eight hours and then guides does both badly. The vehicle depends on the size of the group, from an air-conditioned saloon to a minibus, and it is private: you share it with no one.
Can the route be changed during the trip?
Yes, within what is already booked. Staying an extra night somewhere means dropping one elsewhere, and booked accommodation is not always refundable. Inside a given day, though, there is room: an added stop, one visit swapped for another, an earlier start to beat the heat — all of that is settled the same morning.
